Intellectual Property Lawyer
Remote, Europe | Full-time
Responsibilities
- Conduct trademark and copyright searches to identify potential conflicts
- Manage the trademark and copyright registration process
- Monitor trademark and copyright usage for infringement
- Enforce trademark and copyright rights through cease-and-desist letters, litigation, or other legal means
- Monitor online marketplaces and social media for unauthorized use of the company’s brand
- Respond to online infringement and brand disparagement
- Develop strategies to protect the company’s online reputation
- Draft and negotiate contracts related to intellectual property
- Stay up-to-date on intellectual property laws and regulations
- Advise the company on all matters related to brand protection
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and business development, to ensure brand consistency
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in intellectual property law, preferably with a focus on brand protection
- Strong understanding of trademark, copyright, and other relevant intellectual property laws
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Experience with publishing of Apps in Google Play and App Store (will be a plus)
